pinto REGISTRATION - PINTO or foundation pinto?
Can I register my Pinto with the Independent Pinto Horse Society inc?

If your pony, galloway or horse has a broken colored coat pattern you can apply for registration with the Independent Pinto Horse Society. For FOUNDATION PINTO see below.
(to register you must be a current financial member or a membership application must accompany your registration application/s if becoming a new member)
All membership and registration applications will have to pass committee approval before acceptance.
Registered horses may only be exhibited by a financial member; either the owner, associate member or another financial member
The original Australian Pinto was primarily a light ridden type horse that was based on breeds considered suitable as a riding type. These acceptable breeds included Thoroughbred, Stock Horse, Paint, Quarter Horse, Station Bred, Arab, Australian Pony, Riding Pony, Shetland, Miniature etc. Build varied from finer hack type to the slightly heavier boned hunter type but remained consistent with a light horse type.
The IPHS recognizes the growing changes of the Pinto in Australia and invites applications for registration of all horses that have a broken colored coat pattern.
Horses of unknown breeding, Standardbred and Heavy Horses are all welcome to apply; as with all applications registration will be at the discretion of the committee, you may be required to submit video footage and or a veterinary report before final approval.
Each horse must be free from hereditary defects.
